Uptown Sounds is a wedding DJ, lighting, and photo booth company based in the Hudson Valley. Serving the New York Tri-State region, we provide a team of experienced professionals that can help you create the perfect wedding / event reception. Our team knows the importance of honoring tradition, and can work with a wide variety of musical preferences. Our DJs love contemporary classics like Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, and Rock ‘n’ Roll but also specialize in genres like Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Dembow, Kompa, Reggae, Soca, and more. If clients have a particular request, our DJs are happy to accommodate. We are committed to creating a setlist that reflects the unique tastes, backgrounds, and personalities of each couple / Client.

The quality and professionalism of UPTOWN SOUNDS cannot be beat. Working collaboratively with the cellist we had hired for the ceremony, UPTOWN SOUNDS provided accompaniment and extended the sound system to the wooded ceremony area. Without missing a "beat", there was music at the cocktail hour, located at the outdoor bar/buffet/firepits, followed by the smoothest transition to Master of Ceremonies under the pavilion reception. EVERYTHING flowed seamlessly, and we did not have to worry about a thing. When it was time to dance, everyone couldn't wait to get on the dance floor! We have used UPTOWN SOUNDS for other special gatherings before, and knew we could count on Loren, and his team, to provide excellent service. However, for our only daughter's wedding, they certainly went above and beyond. We highly recommend them for your music needs at any type of gathering!"
